The AppLocker log contains information about applications that are affected by AppLocker rules. Each event in the log contains detailed info about:
- Which file is affected and the path of that file
- Which packaged app is affected and the package identifier of the app
- Whether the file or packaged app is allowed or blocked
- The rule type (path, file hash, or publisher)
- The rule name
- The security identifier (SID) for the user or group identified in the rule
Review the entries in the Event Viewer to determine if any applications are not included in the rules that you automatically generated. For instance, some line-of-business apps are installed to non-standard locations, such as the root of the active drive (for example: %SystemDrive%).

To review the AppLocker log in Event Viewer
- Open Event Viewer.
- In the console tree under Application and Services LogsMicrosoftWindows, click AppLocker.

Just like AppLocker, you can use the touch ID to protect the apps, switches, settings etc. your iPhone. Using BioLockdown is pretty easy. Its interface is quite good.

Another app for locking the apps on iPhone to ensure the protection of your data is iProtect. It lets you protect your apps by applying password lock to them. Just like other mentioned locking apps for iPhone, iProtect allows you to use the touch ID as the lock. All the protection mechanism of iProtect is offline and works on your device only. It also supports categories, folders, sub-folders for better organization of your data. You can even personalize your records with several icons available. What’s good about iProtect, it doesn’t require you to remember the passwords, usernames etc as it can securely store your important information and can automatically log you into websites with a single tap.
4. Loctopus
Loctopusis another good application available for locking the iPhone apps. Well, it is not a free application and you need to pay $2 for Loctopus. The app is available for jailbroken iPhone. The best thing, it is very easy to use. You need to install the app first. It comes with a default password, so you need to change it to any password of your choice to protect your apps and prevent them from other people to unlock. After that, change the password, simply hold it’s app icon and lock it. That’s all you need to do and then you can lock the apps you want to protect.
